Jewellery Care

Our jewellery has been made with love and to be well-loved by you. With proper care, it will continue to shine. We’re confident in the quality of our pieces and with a little care, they would serve you well.

General Care

  • The more intentional you are about caring for your jewellery, the longer it will last.
  • Remove your jewellery before doing any activity that risks physical damage.
  • As a general care tip, your jewellery should be the last thing you put on before going out and the first thing you remove upon coming home.

Storage

  • When not being worn, store in a safe, dry place to protect against moisture, dust and other elements of daily exposure.
  • Store pieces separately to avoid damage.
  • Certain metals, like sterling silver, may tarnish. Rather than the packaging that came with your purchase, we recommend storing your pieces in boxes which are lined with microsuede fabric.

How to Clean

  • Regularly cleaning your pieces helps to avoid the residue build up that can dull the original shine.
  • You could use the metal specific cleaning and polishing cloth for cleaning your jewellery.

  • Proactive maintenance is the best way to prolong the lifespan of sterling silver.
  • Clean by wiping with a soft cloth. To remove tarnish, buff gently with a silver polishing cloth.

Gemstones

Wearing Gemstone Jewellery

  • All of our gemstones are genuine mineral stones that are highly valued for their beauty, longevity, and rarity. We use an array of high-quality, natural gemstones in our jewellery.
  • Gemstones have varying degrees of hardness, so be sure to treat them with care.
  • Many coloured gemstones stones are susceptible to discolouration and fading when excessively exposed to natural elements such as sun, salt water, and perspiration as well as chemical irritants like chlorine, cosmetics, perfumes and lotions.

Storage

  • Store in a safe and dry place to protect from moisture, dust and other elements of daily exposure.

Cleaning Gemstones

  • Do not use steam cleaners or ultrasonic cleaners on coloured gemstones as they can damage or permanently discolour these stones. They can be gently cleaned using a soft-bristled brush.
  • A shaved matchstick or toothpick is quite good at picking out accumulations, but don't be too harsh. Patience pays off.

Mixed Metal / Fashion Jewellery

Wearing Mixed Metal Jewellery / Fashion Jewellery

  • Anything water/oil-based can potentially tarnish your jewellery piece. Perfume, sprays and lotions can be avoided if you wear your jewellery as the last thing you put on before going out and the first thing you remove upon coming home. Refrain from wearing your jewellery in the bath or shower, or when you work out because water and perspiration are corrosive in nature.

Storage

  • Store in a safe and dry place to protect from moisture, dust and other elements of daily exposure.

Cleaning

  • Wipe your jewellery with a clean micro fibre cloth after each use, this way you would not need to clean it often. Dust, water or any effect of air pollution that might have accumulated on the pieces would be wiped off, thus ensuring longevity.
